We understand that circumstances may arise that require cancellation or modification of scheduled appointments or services. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines for refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling.

Please read this policy carefully before booking our services. By making a booking or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Refund Policy.

1. Refund Policy for Styling Services

1.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive to provide exceptional styling services tailored to your needs and preferences. If you are not completely satisfied with your styling session, please inform your stylist during or immediately after the session so that we can address your concerns promptly.

1.2 Conditions for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • If VectorBalance cancels your appointment or is unable to provide the service you booked
  • If the service delivered significantly deviates from the service description or agreed-upon scope
  • If there are exceptional circumstances that, at our discretion, warrant a refund

1.3 Refund Amounts

The refund amount will be determined based on the specific circumstances:

  • Full Refund: If VectorBalance cancels your appointment and cannot reschedule at a mutually convenient time
  • Partial Refund: If only part of the service was delivered or if there were significant issues with a portion of the service
  • Service Credit: In some cases, we may offer a service credit for future appointments instead of a monetary refund

1.4 Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed styling services that met the agreed-upon scope and description
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice (see Cancellation Policy below)
  • No-shows for scheduled appointments
  • Styling preferences or subjective matters of personal taste (e.g., disliking a color recommendation)

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

2.1 Advance Notice Requirement

We understand that plans change. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require the following notice:

  • For standard styling sessions: At least 24 hours' notice
  • For premium or extended styling packages: At least 48 hours' notice
  • For event styling or group sessions: At least 72 hours' notice

2.2 Cancellation Fees

Cancellations made with insufficient notice may incur the following fees:

  • Less than 24 hours' notice (standard sessions): 50% of the service fee
  • Less than 48 hours' notice (premium packages): 50% of the service fee
  • Less than 72 hours' notice (event styling): 50% of the service fee
  • No-show: 100% of the service fee

2.3 Rescheduling

Rescheduling is subject to the same notice requirements as cancellations. If you reschedule with sufficient notice, no fee will be charged. If you reschedule with insufficient notice, a rescheduling fee (equivalent to the applicable cancellation fee) may apply.

2.4 Exceptions to Cancellation Fees

We may waive cancellation fees in certain circumstances, such as:

  • Medical emergencies (documentation may be required)
  • Severe weather or natural disasters
  • Bereavement
  • Other exceptional circumstances at our discretion

If you need to cancel due to any of these circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Refund Process and Timeframe

3.1 How to Request a Refund

If a refund is approved, we will process it within the following timeframes:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: 5-10 business days (depending on your card issuer)
  • Bank Transfers: 3-5 business days
  • Service Credits: Applied to your account immediately

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, the actual time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution.

4. Gift Certificates and Prepaid Packages

4.1 Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Gift certificates expire 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Prepaid Service Packages

Prepaid service packages are eligible for partial refunds under the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase
  • Only unused services in the package will be refunded
  • A processing fee of 10% may be deducted from the refund amount
  • Any services used will be charged at the regular (non-package) rate

After 30 days from purchase, prepaid packages are non-refundable but remain valid for the specified duration (typically 6-12 months).

5. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

5.1 Special Promotions and Discounted Services

Services purchased as part of a special promotion or at a discounted rate may have different refund terms. These terms will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

5.2 Digital Products and Online Courses

Digital styling guides, online courses, and other digital products are generally non-refundable due to their immediate delivery and inability to be "returned." However, if you experience technical issues accessing the content, please contact us for assistance.
